Kendra Matarozza

Director of Online Events

Cadmium

Kendra is the Director of Online Events with Cadmium. Kendra first joined the company in 2009 where she lead the Event/Support team in daily operations and project management. Kendra and Team consistently collaborate to improve the department’s processes, strategic communications, event execution, and the cultivation of strong client relationships, which is at the core of Cadmium’s mission.

Kendra has over 15 years of events, fundraising, development, and non-profit organizational experience. Kendra's events career began in the Special Events Department of The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, before shifting to grassroots fundraising and income management with the American Cancer Society. While Kendra misses the days of penguins running around in company meetings at the Zoo, Kendra loves the accessibility and opportunities that online education offers in this ever-evolving field. Kendra received her master’s degree in Global and International Education from Drexel University where she studied the qualitative impacts experiential learning presents to the life-long student.

Mike Nusbaum

Live Stream Project Manager

Cadmium

Born and raised in coastal New Jersey, Mike graduated from Salisbury University and relocated to Maryland in 2011. The first decade of his career was spent in accounting and finance at Fortune 500 companies. To balance the demands of a high-stress career, he began training for triathlons, which eventually led to launching a business that produced triathlons and other racing events. The business later evolved to specialize in event technology—delivering real-time race results, same-day photos, and video clips for over 1,000 events across the U.S. and internationally.

After starting a family, Mike and his spouse decided to sell the business and settle down. He is now grateful to have joined Cadmium, an event technology company located just six miles from home. Outside of work, Mike enjoys RV travel, hiking, yoga, swimming, surfing—anything outdoors. Mike is excited to serve as a Project Manager in Cadmium’s fast-paced, growing environment.

Amanda Law (Moderator)

Event Marketing Manager

Cadmium

Amanda Law combines her expertise in creative event design, bold marketing strategies, and customer-first experiences to drive success at Cadmium. Before joining the company in 2024, she was busy shaping two decades’ worth of event experiences across industries and audiences of all kinds—leading fundraising and mission-driven programs for the American Diabetes Association, producing large-scale events for Lenovo and Biltmore Estate, and teaching event experience and design at Duke University. Along the way, she mastered both the art of meticulous logistics (ask her about planning hillside events around cattle!) and the craft of designing immersive, memorable experiences that spark connection. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Appalachian State University and lives in Apex, NC with her husband and two zany kids. In her spare time, she enjoys hand lettering and experimenting with unusual watercolors—a hobby she insists is under control despite an ever-growing collection.
